Wow. This one was memorable for different reasons. 3 home runs by Albert Pujols and some controversy. Pujols joined Babe Ruth and Reggie Jackson as the only player to hit 3 home runs in a World Series game. Impressive.

The controversy occurred at first base. According to replays the Rangers' Mike Napoli appeared to tag out the Cardinals' Matt Holiday, but that isn't what umpire Ron Kulpa saw. He called Holiday safe. Replays proved him wrong and shortly thereafter the Cardinals started a rally to go up 5-0.
