According to this article posted on eMarketer, brands (or "the brand itself") are now a close second to a consumer, or peer, when it comes to credibility on social networks. The article further breaks down the research by geographic locations. This is a big step for brands. More and more people are looking for brands they like on social networks, becoming fans and interacting with them. Good stuff.
