For those of you who have not discovered TED (technology, education and design), I am glad you are reading this right now. TED is a small nonprofit devoted to "ideas worth spreading". They host conferences around the world, gathering some of the world's most inspired thinkers to share their knowledge. Their Web site is a goldmine for inspirational talks. Goose bumps and a-ha moments abound.
One of my favorites is this four minute talk Reddit's Alexis Ohanian gave about the real-life fable of one humpback whale's rise to Web stardom.

I love this. I haven't really checked out TED yet, but it is on my radar now because of you!
That's great! And how can you not love Mister Splashy Pants...
